Q + A

Can I change my RSVP?

Our RSVP deadline has now passed and we are no longer able to increase our headcount. For this reason, the RSVP page of our website is now closed. If you had previously RSVPd "yes" and need to change your response due to unforeseen circumstances, please reach out to Kyle or Becca directly. We'll miss those of you who aren't able to celebrate with us and will surely see you soon!

Why aren't our kids (under 21) invited to the wedding?

While we love all of your children of all ages, we made the difficult decision to request that they stay home for our Special Day. This will allow us to celebrate with YOU, while relieving you of your parental duties for a fun night out. This decision has also given us the flexibility to invite more of our friends while keeping our overall guest count within our budget. We truly hope you understand and thank you in advance for respecting our choice on this matter.

What is the dress code?

If you ask Kyle, he may say "casual formal". What he means is semi-formal! We encourage you to get as dressed up as you want - weddings are a great excuse to do so, after all! However, as our venue is a beautiful rustic setting and it will likely be quite warm outside, we want you to be comfortable so wear what you'll feel best in!

Is parking available at Cold Creek Farm?

Yes! There is a parking lot at the front of the venue, as well as a large overflow lot behind the gardens in the back. Both lots are only a few steps away from the ceremony and reception areas. Please note that for anyone choosing to Uber or taxi home, which we strongly encourage if you will be drinking, all personal vehicles MUST be removed from the Cold Creek property no later than 10:00am the following morning. Cold Creek will enforce towing for vehicles remaining on the property after this time.

What time will the ceremony begin?

Our ceremony is scheduled to begin at 4:30pm! Please arrive at least a few minutes early, to ensure that you have ample time to park and make your way to the arbor. This will also allow for time to enjoy the live cello prelude music, performed by our wonderful friends Daniel and Erica Holloway of Elite Strings!

Learn more about Elite Strings at their website: www.elitestrings.com

Can we take photos at the wedding?

Our guests will be encouraged to take as many pictures as they want during intermission and the reception, and we ask that you share them to Instagram or Facebook using our wedding hashtag. However, we are requesting that our ceremony be fully "unplugged" - meaning no cellphones or personal cameras please! We have hired a wonderful photographer who will ensure that all of our most intimate moments are captured so that our guests can be actively engaged and in the moment with us. That said, we just might have some interactive photo opportunities planned... stay tuned!

What is the wedding hashtag for Facebook or Instagram?

Please post or share any photos you take using #RingTheBelles2024. We can't wait to see our Special Day through your eyes!

Will there be a photo booth?

We will have an AWESOME photo booth set-up during the reception, which we hope everyone will enjoy! You will get to keep a personal print of each photo session you participate in, and we will receive a digital copy of all photo booth sessions after the wedding! Let's see you get wild, get goofy, and make some memories with us!

Where will the guestbook be located?

We are not having a traditional, signable guestbook! We've stepped outside the box and will have an AUDIO guestbook at our wedding! You will simply pick up the phone, wait for the beep, then kindly leave us a voice message filled with well wishes, a story you'd like to share, date ideas, marriage tips - or whatever your heart desires! Most importantly, DON'T FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME! Then simply hang up the phone to save your recording. We look forward to treasuring all of your voices and messages from our Special Day for years to come!

Will there be food?

Yes! A fully catered buffet-style dinner will be served during the reception. We've chosen BBQ for our cuisine, but please let us know at your earliest convenience if you have any dietary restrictions so that we can make best efforts to accommodate you with our caterer. A dessert table with an assortment of delicious lil' bites will also be available after dinner!

Are you having an open bar?

Quite possibly the most important question for a 21+ wedding, YES! Drinks will be served up at the bar inside the barn and a secondary backyard/garden bar outside during intermission and the reception. The drinks are on us - the hangover is on you! Please be aware that the bartenders are not permitted to serve "shots" of liquor.

Do you have a room block reserved at any hotels near the venue?

We have chosen not to reserve any room blocks and are leaving the choice of accommodations up to our guests. Please review the Lodging tab here on our website for local hotels, boutique lodges and Bed & Breakfast options. As stated there, we also encourage our guests to check Airbnb, Vrbo, or your home rental marketplace of choice for nearby house and cabin rentals in the Dawsonville or Dahlonega areas!

Who do I reach if I have questions that aren't answered here?

You may reach us at our personal cell numbers. You may also send questions to weddingkyleandbecca@gmail.com. We will respond as quickly as we can, but have patience with us - we are in the middle of planning a wedding, after all!!
